Rules of Play for 50/50 Electronic Raffle:

1. 1. The lottery will take place online only.  A series of monthly draws from August 3, 2021 - May 15, 2022. Each draw will take place at 11am EST on the dates listed below. All draws take place in Eastern Standard Time. (EST)
   1. September 2021:
   1. Launch Date: August 3, 2021 – 11:00 am
   2. Early Bird Draw
   1. Sales Close: August 23, 2021 – 11:59 pm
      Draw Dates: August 24, 2021 – 11:00 am
      Prize: One winner $1000
   3. Final Draw
   1. Sales Close: September 14, 2021 – 11:59 pm
      Draw Date: September 15, 2021 – 11:00 am
      Prize: 50% of total sales
   2. October 2021:
   1. Launch Date: September 15, 2021 – 1:00 pm
   2. Early Bird Draw
   1. Sales Close: September 29, 2021 – 11:59 pm
      Draw Date: September 30, 2021 – 11:00 am
      Prize: One winner $1000
   3. Final Draw
   1. Sales Close: October 14, 2021 – 11:59 pm
      Draw Date: October 15, 2021 – 11:00 am
      Prize: 50% of total sales
   3. November 2021 to May 2022:
   1. Launch Dates: The 15th of each month – 1:00 pm
   2. Sales Close: The 14th of each month – 11:59 pm
   3. Draw Dates: The 15th of each month – 11:00 am
   4. Prizes: One winner per monthly draw, 50% of total sales for that month. 

    
2. 2. Tickets will be available for online purchase only at www.united5050.ca . You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase tickets and must be located in the Province of Ontario at the time of purchase. 
3. 3. Tickets prices are 3 tickets for $10.00, 40 tickets for $20.00, and 200 tickets for $40.00.
4. 4. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.
5. 5. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mail with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
6. 6. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
7. 7. The amount of the 50/50 will be available at www.united5050.ca .  
8. 8. Tickets will be sold beginning at 11:00 am on August 3, 2021 and ending at 11:59pm on May 14, 2022.
9. 9. The winning number will be announced by email, posted online at www.united5050.ca , on the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton Facebook page and Instagram page.
10. 10. The winner may claim their prize by contacting United Way of Sarnia-Lambton at: (519) 336-5452. The ticket may then be brought to the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton office at 1362 Lambton Mall Road, Unit 10, Sarnia, ON at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.
11. 11. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
12. 12. The winner must provide his/her/their name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
13. 13. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
14. 14. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than United Way of Sarnia-Lambton, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
15. 15. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws: All current United Way of Sarnia-Lambton Staff and Board of Directors.
